This was such a cute episode, I didn’t even remember it (not surprising considering how long it’s been). This is why even filler episodes can be great and develop characters, it was really nice of them to basically dedicate an episode to Takagi and his detective skills. They should really do this more often with other characters :) although I will say this was a pretty silly motive, it’s up there lol. Also, can we talk about how unreasonably tiny Conan is at 20:58?? Lol

yup, this one should be a cautionary tale for every investigator. they should keep an open mind at all times and look at everything from all the possible angles. the simplest or first answer you come to is NOT always the right one. Occam's Razor isn't the best guide to police work. :D

You should always call for ambulance even when the victim is dead. Takagi was really cool in this episode.

Why is no one questioning why he's there, he looks so out of place. 13:15, Takagi's hair really resemble's his original design here huh. 13:23, Takagi having a conversation with Conan and not even once thinking, how weird it is, they've gotten so used to Conan on the scene he doesn't even bat an eye when a 6 year old solves an entire case right in front of him. I wonder if they write off the shounen tantei dan as repeat witnesses or private consultants? 19:47, that's sad.

Simple and rather boring like most one episode fillers, but I give it a pass just because Takagi was able to shine.

It sometimes hit or misses with just Conan and takagi episodes but honestly I would take them than the kogoro and conan episodes
